Step by Step Recipe for Kachchi Dabeli

This is a Recipe for making at home tasty Fast Food Style Kachchi Dabeli (कच्ची दबेली ). Kachchi Dabeli is one of the most famous and popular fast food items found all over India. In this article, I will explain in a most simple step by step manner how Kachchi Dabeli can be easily  prepared at home.

Preparation Time: 45 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons

Ingredients
1 Ladi Pav (8 pieces)
2 Big size Potatoes (boiled, Pealed and mashed)
1 Small size Onion (chopped)
2 Table spoon Peanuts (roasted)
2 Table spoon Pomegranate Seeds
2 Table spoon Apple (chopped)
½ Table spoon Oil
½ Tea spoon Chat Masala
1 Tea spoon Pav Bhaji Masala
1 Table spoon Green Chutney
3 Table spoon Tamarind-Jaggery Chutney
Salt as per taste
Butter for frying the Pav
Cheese (shredded) for Garnishing

Preparation
 Boil, peal and mash the Potatoes.

Heat the Oil in a Kadhai. Add the Onion and fry for two-three minutes and then add the Chat Masala, Pav Bhaji Masala, Peanuts, and Salt and mix it well. Then add the Potatoes, Pomegranate Seeds, Apple pieces, Green Chutney, Tamarind-Jaggery Chutney and then mix it well.

Then cook for two-three minutes on a slow flame. The Mixture is ready.

Slit the Pav and then add a Table spoon of the mixture inside the slit Pav.

Heat a Tawa and then add a tea spoon Butter and roast the Pav by adding Butter all over it.

Serve hot with garnishing of Cheese.
