Recipe for Palak Puri

This is recipe for preparing Palak Puri with Spinach stuffing.

1 bunch Palak [Spinach leaves]
2 flakes Garlic
2 Green Chilies
Maida to make dough
Salt as per taste
Oil for frying

Firstly remove the hard stalk from the Palak. The steam the Palak along with the Garlic, Chilies and a pinch of Soda- Bicarbonate; when it cools remove from the cooker.
Then put the steamed Palak in a blender to make a thick watery mixture.
Then sieve the Maida and add salt and a pinch of Turmeric powder. Add 1 tablespoon of hot oil and then add the Palak mixture and knead to make thick dough.
Them make small round ball; roll the balls to make round Puris.
Deep fry the Puris and serve hot with Chutney or Pickle.
