Recipe for Lasun (Garlic) Sev

This is a Recipe for preparing at home crispy and tasty Lasun (Garlic) Sev. This Lasun Sev is also prepared during festivals; it is most popular during the annual Diwali festival in Maharashtra.This recipe is similar to the one for making plain Sev; the only exception is the addition of Garlic Water.

Preparation Time: 60 Minutes
Serves: 12-15 Persons

4 Cup Besan [Gram flour]
1 Cup Oil
4 Tea spoon Red Chili Powder
4 Tea spoon Salt
¼ Tea spoon Turmeric
15 Petals of Garlic (grind with 2 table spoon water & filter it)
Oil for frying
1 Cup Water

First take the1 cup Oil and 1 cup Water and mix it nicely till color change in to White.
After that add Salt, Chili powder, Turmeric, Garlic filtered water and Besan and then mix it well and make Dough.
Heat the Oil in to the frying pan.
After that take a Sev Maker and take the medium size hole plate and make sev on the slow sim till color change in to light brown.

Note: When we will put Sev in to the hot Oil at that time sim will be high after that put on slow sim.
