This is an extremely simple Recipe for Palak Dal, a healthy and nutritious Indian Gravy using Spinach as the main ingredient. The Palak Dal goes nicely with Rotis or Rice and is easy to prepare with minimum wastage of time or effort.
Preparation Time: 30 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons
1 Cup split green Moong Dal
One bunch Palak
Salt, Turmeric, Green Chili as per taste.
1 large Onion (finely chopped)
1-2 “piece Ginger, (crushed)
2 Large Tomatoes
Oil for frying
Some Coriander leaves [chopped]
Cook the Dal along with the Palak , Salt, Turmeric and Green Chili.
Fry the Onion and as it browns add the Ginger paste and the Tomatoes, then add them to the Dal,
Add Coriander leaves; Lime Juice is a good addition to this one as well.
