Maharashtrian Style Cucumber Kheer

This is a Recipe for making at home typical Maharashtrian Style sweet and tasty Cucumber Kheer or Pudding. This Kheer, which is prepared using Cucumbers and Mawa as the main ingredients can be served along with the main course or served chilled for Dessert.

Preparation Time: 20 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons

Ingredients
2 Medium size Cucumbers
½ liter Milk
½ Cup Sugar
1 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
2 Tablespoon Whole Dried Milk (Khoya)
1 Tablespoon Rose Petal Jam

Preparation
Wash, peal and shred the Cucumber.
Boil the Milk for 5-7 minutes and then add the shredded Cucumber and boil for 2-3 minutes on a slow flame.
Then add the Sugar, Cardamom Powder, Khoya, Rose Petal Jam and mix it well and boil for a minute.
The Cucumber Kheer is ready, after it cools down, keep it into the refrigerator for cooling.
Serve the Cucumber Kheer Chilled and while serving garnish with dry fruits.
