This is a Recipe for preparing Vegetable Macedonia, the famous European Salad. I have given a simple method to prepare this salad, which can be eaten purely as a salad with other dishes such as meat or cutlets or baked to prepare a Vegetable Pie using the same ingredients.
Both the preparations do not consume much time and effort and are worth trying occasionally, if in a mood to change your daily menu.
Preparation of Salad
Boil Carrots, Turnips, and French Beans along with Peas Podded in Salt Water. Drain out excess Water. Heat Butter and fry the boiled Vegetables slightly. Serve hot with roast meat or Cutlets.
This is the simple recipe for preparing a Vegetable Pie using 2 cups of the same Vegetable Macedonia Salad preparation.
2 Cups Vegetable Macedonia
1 Cup White sauce
1 Table spoon Cheese (grated)
1 Table spoon Butter
Preparation of Vegetable Pie
Arrange Vegetables Macedonia in a dish, pour White sauce over it, top with grated Cheese and Butter and bake in Microwave Oven till top is golden brown color.
