This is a Recipe for Mugachya Daliche Dahi Vada. [Green Gram Dal]. This is a Maharashtrian recipe for Dahi Vadas.
3 Cup Green Gram Dal
1 Tea spoon Cumin seeds
1 Tea spoon Cumin-Pepper powder
1 Table spoon Coriander
1 Tea spoon Red Chili powder
Salt to taste
Ghee for frying
4 Cup sweet Curd
Soak the Green Gram Dal for 7-8 hours. Then grind it without Water to make a thin paste and then add 1 tea spoon Cumin seeds and blend it with hand for 5-10 minutes.
Heat the Ghee in a Kadhai and deep fry the Vadas till color change in to light brown and then put it into hot water for 2-3 minutes. Press the Vadas and remove excess water then keep them aside.
In the sweet Curd add 2 Tea spoon Salt and blend it nicely. Then add Vadas and keep it in the refrigerator.
While serving decorate with Red Chili powder, Cumin-Pepper powder and Coriander.
