Recipe for Bread Tikki

This is another simple snack or cocktail recipe. This is a recipe for Pav or Bread Ki Tikki, can also be served with the main course.

½ a loaf of bread
200 grams boiled potatoes
3 to 4 finely cut chilies
Coriander leaves
A dozen Khismis
Salt as per taste
Oil for frying
Either 1 egg or Maida powder

Mash the potatoes to a paste.
Then add all the ingredients to the paste and mix well.
Then beat the egg well. Add the seasoning and keep aside.
Then cut the bread slices into round shapes.
Then apply a little water on the bread slices and take a lime sized ball from the mixture and press on the bread.
Apply it with egg and then roll into the bread crumbs.
Deep fry till golden brown.
Serve hot with sauce or chutney.
