Recipe for Cashew nuts and Raisins Pulao

This is a step by step Recipe for preparing at home up market restaurant style Kaju Kismis Pulao or the Cashew nuts and Raisins Pulao as it is called in English. Ihis is a rich and delicious main course rice preparation, which is suitable for the main course of any kind of party.

Cashew nuts and Raisins Pulao Preparation Time: 30 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons

400 Grams fine Rice
50 Grams Cashew nuts
50 Grams Raisins
2 Onions
2 Eggs (optional)
60 Grams Vanaspati
Salt to taste
400 ML water

Clean and wash .the Rice. Cut the Onion length wise.
Heat the Vanaspati in the cooker container, add cut Onions and fry for two to three minutes.
Add cashew nuts and raisins.
Add the washed Rice, Salt and fry for one minute.
Add water to it. Close the lid. If cooked pressure.
Then reduce to medium heat and cook for three minutes.
Open after releasing the steam.
Before serving, garnish Pulao with boiled Eggs and fried Onion strings,
Serve hot with Tomato and Chili Sauce.
