Recipe for Tasty Triveni Ladoo for Diwali Faral

This is a Recipe for making at home sweet and tasty Triveni Ladoo. These delicious Ladoos, which are prepared using Besan, Semolina and Khoya as the main ingredients can also be prepared to add variety to the annual Diwali Faral.

Preparation Time:60 Minutes
Serves: 25 Ladoos

Ingredients
3 Cups Semolina (Suji)
1 Cup Besan
250 Gram Whole Dried Milk [Khoya-Mawa]
2 Cups Saffron mixed Milk and Water
3 Cups Sugar
½ Cup Ghee
¼ Cup Pista
1 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder

Preparation
Heat ¼ cup Ghee and add the Semolina, mix it well and roast the Semolina on a slow flame until the color changes into light brown.
Then add a cup of warm Milk and mix it well.
Remove the Semolina from the flame and keep it aside for cooling.
Heat the remaining Ghee and add the Besan and roast it for 5-7 minutes on a slow flame.
Then mix it with Semolina.
In a Kadai add the Sugar and the remaining Milk and prepare a Sugar Syrup, which should be slightly sticky.
Then add the Semolina, Khoya, Pista, Cardamom Powder and mix it well and cover with a plate and keep it aside for 2 hours.
Then prepare medium size Ladoos.
After preparing Ladoos store them in a container.
