Hare Tamatar-Shimla Mirch Salad

This is a recipe for preparing at home Green Tomato-Capsicum or Hare Tamatar-Shimla Mirch Salad called in the Marathi language as the Hirve Tomato Shimla Mirch Koshimbir.
This Salad can be easily prepared to add variety to you main course meal, it can also be served for most kinds of parties and functions.

Preparation time-10 Minute
Serves- 4-6 Persons

2-3 Green Tomatoes
Two-Three Capsicum – Shimla Mirch
One teaspoon Peanut Powder
½ teaspoon Jeera [Cumin Seeds]
½ Fresh Lime
Pure Ghee as per taste and liking
Salt and Sugar as per need and taste

Chop the Green Tomatoes finely and keep aside.
Wash and chop the Shimla Mirch finely and remove its seeds and keep aside.
Mix the chopped Green Tomatoes, Shimla Mirch, and Peanut Powder and peal the Lime in to the mixture and mix.
Heat the Ghee in a utensil, add the Jeera, and then pour over the Green Tomato-Shimla Mirch mixture to give a Tadka.
Then add the Salt and Sugar as per taste.
Keep in a refrigerator for chilling.
Serve chilled.
