This is a Recipe for Puran Pak; this is uncommon Maharashtrian Mithai. Simple and easy preperation, does not take much time to prepare.
1 Cup Gram Dal
3 Cups Sugar
1 Coconut (grated)
100 Grams Khoya[whole dried milk] ½ Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
Soak the Gram Dal and grind to a fine paste. Add equal amount of grated Coconut and Khoya and cook on a low flame stirring constantly. It forms a lump when done. Mix Cardamom Powder. Smear a plate with Ghee and spread the mixture evenly. Cut out in likeable shapes and sizes.
