Recipe for Dry Chutney for Idli Dosa

This is a Recipe for preparing at home Restaurant or Fast-Food Stall Style Sukhi or Dry chutney for Idli Dosa. This Dal Chutney adds taste and flavor to Idlis and Dosas and other South Indian Snacks.

Dry Chutney for Idli Dosa Preparation Time: 20 Minutes
Serves: 5 Persons

Ingredients
1 Cup Urad Dal
¾ Cup Chana Dal
5-6 Red dry Chilies
2 Table spoon Til
1 Table spoon Curry leaves
¼ Cup dry Coconut (shredded)

For Tadka
1 Table spoon Oil
1 Tea spoon Rai
¼ Tea spoon Hing

Preparation
Heat one table spoon Oil in a Kadhai. Then add the Urad Dal, Chana Dal, Til, Red Chili, Curry leaves, Salt and Dry Coconut and roast for 5 minutes on a slow sim.
After that grind it to prepare a thick paste.
Heat one table spoon Oil and then add Rai and Hing to the paste.
Mix it well. The Chutney is ready.
