This is a Recipe for preparing at home Masala for Milk. This Milk Masala [ Doodh Masala] is used to prepare Khir, Basundi, Ice-cream decoration and Sharad – Kojagiri Purnima Milk preparations. This Masala can easily be made at home; no need to purchase from the market. Approximately 2 table spoons of this Masala can be used for a preparation of 1 liter milk
50 Gram Almonds
25 Gram Cashew nuts
10 Gram Cardamoms
20 Gram Charoli [Buchanania lanzan Seeds] 20 Gram Pistachio
1 Gram Saffron
A pinch of yellow food color
First slightly heat the Cashew nuts, Almonds, Pistachio and Charoli and grind it to make a thick powder. After that add the Nutmeg powder and Saffron. Mix it well. The Masala is ready for use.
