Recipe for Burger Buns

This is a Recipe for preparing at home Bakery Style Burger Buns. This useful recipe teaches you to prepare Buns which are used for making Burgers of various kinds.

4 Cups Maida
1 Egg
½ Tea spoon Salt
1 Cup Warm Milk
1 Table spoon Sugar
For Yeast ferment
1 Table spoon Yeast
1 Table spoon Sugar
1 Table spoon lukewarm Water
1 Table spoon lukewarm Milk

Mix Sugar, Yeast and Milk and Water and keep in warm place so that it will rise. Keep for 15 to 20 minutes. Sieve Maida, Rub in salt and Butter. Add rest of the things. Add yeast ferment. Make the dough and keep it covered for four-five hours. Again knead it and keep it for while. Divide the portion into 20 balls. Keep on the greased tray and leave it to rise, for 30 minutes. Brush a little Egg on the top. Bake in a pre-heated Microwave till golden brown in color.
These Buns can now be used for the different fillings.
