This is a very simple Recipe for preparing Sarso Ka Saag.This is probably the dish, which is most identified with Punjabi cusine. This is an authentic and traditional Punjabi recipe for the main course or breakfast.
4 Bunch of Saro
100 Gram Maki ka Atta
6 to 7 Green Chilies Chopped
1 Tea spoon Ginger and Garlic paste
Salt to taste
½ Tea spoon Cumin Seeds
Chop Sarso leaves finely and put to boil in a pressure cooker for 7 to 8 minutes.
Heat Ghee in a Container. Add Cumin seeds, green Chilies, Garlic- Ginger paste and fry till slight brown.
Then add the Saag to the Masala and stir well. Further, add Maki ka atta and keep stirring for few minutes. Add Salt and simmer for 10 minutes.
Garnish with butter and serve hot with Maki ki Roti.
