Recipe for Sweet Corn Rice [ Indian style ]

This Recipe is for preparing Sweet Corn Rice prepared in the traditional Indian style. The Makai Pulao as this dish is called in Hindi is a main course wholesome rice dish.

Ingredients
1 Cup Basmati Rice
½ tea spoon Ginger Paste
½ Tea spoon Garam Masala
2 Table spoon Sweet Corn nuggets (Boiled)
2 Table spoon Oil or Ghee
¼ Cup Coriander and shredded Coconut for decoration
Salt to taste

For Tadka
2 leaves Tamalpatra or Tejpatta [Bay Leaves]
3 sticks Laung [clove]
5 seeds Black pepper,
3 pieces Green elachai [Green Cardamom]
1 Masala Elaichi [Black Cardamom]
1 tea spoon Sahajeera [Black Cumin seeds]
½ Lemon

Preparation
First prepare plain Rice (1 Cup Rice boiled with1 ½ cup water) and keep aside.
Heat the ghee in the frying pan and add the Tadka ingredients and then add Corn nuggets and cook for 2 minutes, then add the Ginger paste and cook for 2 minutes on slow sim.
After that add the cooked Rice, Garam Masala and Salt and then cook for 5 minutes on slow slm.
While serving decorate with Coriander & Coconut.
