Healthy and Nutritious Navalkol Thalipeeth

This is a Recipe for preparing at home healthy and nutritious Navalkol Thalipeeth, an uncommon Thalipeeth recipe. Navalkol is good for getting relief from acidity and removing excess body heat. This Navalkol Thalipeeth make a good Tiffin Box dish for school going children.

Preparation Time: 30 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons

Ingredients
2 Cups Navalkol (Knolkhol, Kohlrab)
¾ Cup Rice Flour
¾ Cup Wheat Flour
¾ Cup Jowar (Sorghum)
¾ Cup Bajra (Millet)
1 Big size Onion (chopped)
1” Ginger (shredded)
5-6 Green Chilies (chopped)
½ Cup Coriander (chopped)
1 Cup Navalkol Leaves (chopped)
Salt as per taste
Oil for frying the Thalipeeth

Preparation
Wash the Navalkol and shred it finely. Wash the Navalkol Leaves and Coriander chopped them.
Mix the Rice Flour, Wheat Flour, Jowar Flour, Millet Flour, Onion, Green Chilies, Ginger, Navalkol Leaves, Coriander Leaves, Salt and water and prepare a slightly loose Dough. Then prepare eight sized equal balls from the Dough.
Take a Banana Leaf and pat a ball over the Banana Leaf and give it a round Thalipeeth shape.
Heat a Tawa and apply a teaspoon Oil over the Tawa and fry the Thalipeeth from both sides with using of Oil.
Serve the Navalkol Thalipeeth hot with Tomato Sauce.
