Simple Turkish Style Chicken

This is a Recipe for Chicken prepared in the Turkish Style of cooking. The preparation is not difficult once you have all the ingredients in place. The preparation is suitable for new homemakers wishing to prepare a spicy Chicken dish.

Turkish Style Chicken Preparation Time: 45 Minutes
Serves: 6 Persons

Ingredients
1 Large Chicken [cleaned, skinned and cut into medium pieces]
Eight Cloves Garlic
1 inch  Ginger Piece
Four Green Chilies
Six Cardamoms [Hari Elaichi]
Eight Peppercorns [Kali Miri]
Six Cloves [Laung]
1 inch Turmeric Stick [Haldi]
250 Grams Cashew Nuts [powdered to a fine paste]
4 Tablespoon Groundnuts [finely grounded after being soaked in water and pealed]
1 Cup Sesame Oil [Til Ka Tel]
4 Tablespoon Vinegar
Four Tablespoon Coriander Leaves [Chopped finely]
Salt as per taste

Preparation
Take the Ginger, Garlic, Cloves, Cardamoms, Peppercorns, Green Chilies and Turmeric and grind them to prepare a fine paste.
Mix the paste with the Chicken pieces nicely and keep the Chicken pieces aside for three hours.
Grind to a Paste the Ingredients from Garlic to Turmeric. Combine all the above Ingredients with the Chicken pieces together and rub well with the hands. Set aside for three hours.
Heat the Oil in a thick frying pan and add the Chicken pieces, cover the frying and cook on a Medium flame until the Chicken is cooked. Open the cover to stir the Chicken pieces at regular intervals.
