Recipe for Ratalyachi Dashami (Sweet Potato Puri)

This is a Recipe for preparing Ratalyachi Dashami (Sweet Potato Puri). This is an traditional and authentic Maharashtrian delicacy; try it out; you will simply love the taste.

1 Big size Sweet Potato (Boil, peal and mash)
2 Cups Wheat Atta
½ Cup Sugar
1 Table spoon Ghee (hot)
1 Cup Milk
Salt to Taste

First of all take the mashed Sweet Potato and add Sugar, Salt and Atta to it and then mix well. Then add Milk and hot Ghee and prepare Dough (add little Water if required) and then keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
Then prepare medium size balls of the Dough and roll them like Puris.
Heat a Tawa and spread one tea spoon Ghee and fry the Dashami on both the sides, like a Chapatti [do not deep fry].
Serve hot with Milk.
