Recipe for Dry Prawns and Jackfruit Seeds

This is a Coastal Indian Recipe for preparing Sukha Jhinga or Dry Prawns and Jackfruit Seeds.

½ Cup dry Prawns
15 Jackfruit Seeds
3 Green Chilies (slit lengthwise)
2 Onion (sliced)
Some Curry leaves
½ Coconut (extract Milk)
Salt to taste
For Paste
3 Red Chilies (roasted)
1 Tea spoon Coriander seeds (roasted)
½ Tea spoon Cumin seeds (roasted)
½ Inch pieces dried Coconut

Heat some Oil in a Pan. Fry the Onion until light brown, then add Prawns, Chilies and Curry leaves and fry for a few minutes. Add Masala paste, Jackfruit seeds and Salt. Simmer for a few minutes, and then add the Coconut Milk. Simmer until it thickens. Serve hot.
