This is a simple and easy to prepare recipe for the main course, which is the basic version of the Rasawala Aloo or Bateta nu Shaak a Potato dish, which is a intedral part of the traditional Gujarati Cuisine.
Preparation Time- 20 Minutes
Serves – 4 Persons
4 Big size Potatoes (peal and cut into medium size pieces)
2 Small size Tomatoes (cut into medium size pieces)
1 Tea spoon Red chili powder
Salt to taste
1 Table spoon Ghee
½ Tea spoon Jeera
¼ Tea spoon Hing
First prepare tadka then add the potatoes & tomatoes and fry for 2-3 minutes.
Then add glass of water & cook well.
The Gujarati Potato Rassa is ready.
