Recipe for Shahi Paneer

This Recipe is for preparing at home delicious restaurant or dhaba style Shahi Paneer Gravy. This Paneer preparation is a very popula main course dish all over India.

Preparation Time: 30 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons

200 gram Paneer
½ Cup dry Coconut
2 Big Onions (cut in medium size pieces)
2 petal of Garlic
½ “Dalchini [Cinnamon]
2 Laung [clove]
1 Small Tomato (cook & make Puree)
Salt to taste
1 Tea spoon Rai [Mustard Seeds] & Jeera [cumin seeds]
4 Tea spoon Oil

First shred the dry Coconut and fry in a frying pan till color change in to pink.
Then fry the Onion till color change in to pink after that grind the Coconut & Onion.
Then fry the Garlic, Dalchini, and Laung and grind it.
Heat the oil in the frying pan add Rai & Jeera then add the Coconut, Onion & all the grounded items, Tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes on slow sim.
After that add some water and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Then fry the Paneer pieces in the frying pan than add it in to gravy.
Serve hot and while serving decorate with the Coriander.
