Recipe for Coconut Burfi

This is a most simple recipe for Coconut Burfi.This is a Sweet dish, called in Marathi as Khobryachi Burfi or Naralachi Vadi. It is very popular in Maharashtra and is prepared on festive occasions like Diwali Faral.

Preparation Time: 60 Minutes
Serves: 40 Pieces

Ingredients
4 Cup Coconut Shredded
3 ½ Cup Sugar
1 Table spoon Sugar (grounded)
3 Cup Milk
1 Table spoon Cream
½ Table spoon Ghee
5 pieces Green elachi [Green Cardamom grounded]

Preparation
In a Frying pan put Coconut, Milk & Sugar and cook till it becomes dry on a slow slim.
After that add Cardamom powder, grounded sugar and mix it nicely.
Then take one plate and put ghee on the surface of that plate, put coconut mixture on that plate and press equally with plastic paper so that it is about ¼ inch thick.
When it becomes cold cut it in equal sized pieces.
