Spicy Maharashtrian Carrot Chutney

This is a Recipe for making at home spicy Maharashtrian Style Spicy Carrot Chutney. This Chutney variation makes the use of fresh carrots along with fresh green chills to give the Chutney that spicy taste.

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons

Ingredients
4 Carrot (big size)
3 Green Chilies
¼ Cup Coconut (grated)
1 Tablespoon Coriander Leaves (chopped)
1 Teaspoon Tamarind
2 Teaspoon Jaggery
¼ Teaspoon Asafoetida
Salt as per taste

Preparation
Wash and shred the Carrot. Chop the Green Chilies, Grate the Coconut and Chop the Coriander Leaves.
Mix the shredded Carrot, Green Chilies, Coconut, Tumrind, Jaggery, Asafoetida, Salt and grind into a paste.
Pour the Chutney into a bowl and add the Coriander Leaves.
Serve with Chapatti.
