1 Cup Red Gram
Jaggery and Salt to taste
1 Table spoon Coriander
1 Table spoon coconut (Shredded)
1 Tea spoon Red Chili powder
1 Table spoon Oil
½ Tea Spoon Mustard
½ Tea spoon Cumin Seeds
¼ Tea spoon Fenugreek

¼ Tea spoon Turmeric powder
First of all Cook the Red Gram Dal nicely. After that add Jaggery, Salt, Red Chili powder, Goda Masala, Turmeric, Cocam and enough water. Mix it well.
After that prepare the tadka and mix it with the dal. Cook for 5 minutes. While serving add shredded Coriander leaves and serve with rice,
