This is a simple Recipe for preparing Olan; This is traditional dish from the state of Kerala; popular during festivities.
½ Kg Snakeqourd
1 Coconut Milk (keep it separate as 1st Milk and 2nd Milk)
4 Slit Green Chilies
Salt to taste
2 Table spoon Coconut Oil
In the second Milk, cook the ½ cut snakegourd, Salt and green chilies. When it is cooked, add the curry leaves. Allow it to get it thick. Then add the 1st Milk and stir it on a very slow flame for a minute. Add coconut oil and remove from the flame and cover it with a lid.
