Recipe for Lettuce and Potato Mash

This is a very simple Recipe for preparing Lettuce and Potato Mash. A different kind of Vegetarian Recipe for those who love the taste of lettuce and potatoes.

1 Lettuce head
6 Potatoes
4 Green Chilies
½ Coconut
6 Table spoon Ghee
1 Tea spoon Mustard
Salt to taste
A few curry leaves

Boil the Potatoes. Peel and cut into small pieces. Chop the lettuce. Scrape the coconut and grind with Tamarind and Chilies. When it is fine, add the Potatoes and grind nicely till the mixture is well blended. Add the cut up lettuce leaves before removing from the grinder. Add salt. Fry mustard in Ghee and add curry leaves. Add to the Potato mixture and blend well.
