Recipe for Kanda Puri with Chutney

This is a recipe for preparing at home Kanda Puri with Chutney. This is a Maharashtrian Specialty Fast Food dish which is normally prepared for breakfast or snacks.

3 Bowls wheat flour
½ Bowl gram flour
½ Bowl fine Suji
½ Bowl Rice flour
½ Bowl Maida
¼ Bowl hot Oil
1 ½ Tea spoon Salt
1 ½ Tea spoon Sugar

Chutney material
½ Bowl crushed Raw Mango
7 to 8 Green Chilies
1 Tea spoon Salt
1 Tea spoon Jeera
¼ Bowl Coriander
2 Tea spoon Sugar
1 Bowl Coconut

To spread on Puri
Beet, Carrot
Thin Sev
Coconut (grated)

Mix all the puri ingredients and knead it a little loose. Make the puri and keep it on a paper. Poke it with a knife delicately. Fry them crisp and hard. Before serving puri dish ass the chutney first. Add grated Beet, Carrot, chopped Onion, Coconut, Coriander and Sev. Serve with two Puris in it.
