Step by step recipe for Spinach Loaf

This is a step by step recipe for preparing Continental Spinach Loaf. This Palak loaf is an excellent main course dish, prepared in the Continental Style of Cooking.

500 Grams Spinach [Chopped]
2 Eggs
2 medium-size Potatoes
1 ½ cup Milk
100 Grams Cheese
1 Tea spoon cooking Oil
Salt, freshly ground black pepper and grated nutmeg to taste.

Take a 1 pound loaf tin and brush the inside of the tin with cooking Oil.
Boil the chopped Spinach and drain the water.
Boil the potatoes peel and mash well.
Beat the Eggs, add Milk then crumble the cheese in to the mixture.
Mix in spinach and mashed Potatoes.
Season the mixture with Salt, Pepper and a sprinkling of nutmeg.
Pour it in to the tin. Bake for 30 minutes.
Loose it carefully round the edges and turn it on to a plate.
Decorate with Onions and Tomato rings. Serve with rolls and butter. This makes a good hot or cold main course.
