Recipe for Moong Toast

This is a Recipe for preparing crisp and tasty Moong Toast. This is a delicious break fast dish, which uses a special Green Gram Battar for making this Moong Toast.

Bread 6 slices (cut into half)
Green chutney (grind)
Coriander leaves ½ bunch
4 green Chilies
Tamarind (marble size)
¼ Coconut
Salt to taste

Make green gram batter:
Soak and grind ½ cup green gram with 2 red chilies. 1 tea spoon of salt. Make thick batter adding water. Heat ghee in a frying pan take a piece of bread, apply 1 tea spoon of the gram batter, Spread evenly and place the bread on the hot tawa- masala side down- fry golden in color – turn and fry other side crisp adding more ghee – serve hot.
