Recipe for Paneer Khubani – 2

This is a step by step Recipe for Paneer Khubani. This is a famous recipe from Hyderabad. This is a main course dish.

Preparation Time: 60 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons

Ingredients
¼ Kg Pannier (cut in medium size pieces)
100 grams Dry Jardalu [Apricot] (cut in small pieces)
2 Medium size Onion (cut in fine pieces)
2 Big size Tomatoes (Boil for 5 minutes then peal the skin and cut in small pieces)
2 Tea spoon Ginger and Green Chili paste
¼ Tea spoon Saffron
1 Table spoon Milk [to soak the Saffron]
2 Table spoon Ghee
Salt to taste
2 Table spoon Coriander
1 Table spoon Sugar

Preparation
Heat the Ghee in a frying pan and deep fry the Paneer pieces and keep aside.
Then fry the Onion till color change in to pink.
Then add the Ginger-Chili paste and fry for 2 -3 minutes.
Then add the Tomatoes and fry till dry.
After that add the Salt and Sugar and ½ cup water and cook for 10 minutes on a slow sim.
Then add the Paneer and Jardalu and cook nicely.
While serving add Saffron Milk and decorate with Coriander.
Serve hot with Paratha or Nan.
