This is a Recipe for Carrot Gulab Jamun, a unique Gulab Jamun recipe prepared with Carrots as the main ingredient.
Preparation Time: 60 Minutes
Serves: 25 Nos
2 Cups Khoya [whole dried milk]
2 Cups Carrot (shredded)
1 Cup Wheat Flour Atta
6 Cups Sugar
Ghee for Gulab Jamun frying
A Pinch of Soda by Carb (dissolve in teaspoon water)
Keep the shredded Carrot in a strainer and steam it in a pressure cooker for five minutes and then grind it in a Puran Yantra [Puran Yantra is used in the preparation of Puran Poli]. Then grind the Khoya in the Puran Yantra and add the Wheat Flour and 1 table spoon hot Ghee. Mix it well, add dissolved Soda BY-Carb, and then prepare Dough. Prepare small oval shape balls. Heat the Ghee in a Kadhai and deep-fry the Gulab Jamun until color changes in to light brown.
Prepare Sugar Syrup and add Rose Essence. When Sugar Syrup cools down add the Gulab Jamun.
