This is a recipe for Egg Drop Soup. This is another simple but not much known Chinese Souprecipe.
1 lightly beaten egg
1 spring onion [chopped with stalk] 4 cups chicken stock
A pinch of ajinomoto
1 tea spoon vinegar
2 tea spoon soya sauce
Corn flour mixture to thicken the soup
Bring the stock to a boil. Add salt, pepper, ajinomoto, vinegar and soya sauce.
Add the chopped spring onion and then pour the corn flour mixture into the soup while constantly stirring.
Pour the beaten egg into the soup in a thin stream and stir briefly with a fork.
Remove from the fire and serve hot.
Chopped chilies in vinegar, soya sauce and chilly sauce.
