Recipe for Sweet Corn Niblets Usal

This is a Recipe for making at home Godya Makyachya Danyachi Usal or Sweet Corn Usal.  The Sweet Corn Niblets dish for the main course, described in this recipe has been prepared by me in the typical Maharashtrian Style of cooking.

This recipe is part of the various cooking experiments conducted by me, tastes great.

Preparation Time: 30 Minutes
Serves: 3-4 Persons

Ingredients
2 Cups Sweet Corn Niblets (Cooked)
1 Small Onion (chopped)
1 Table spoon Tomato (chopped)
1 Tea spoon Red Chili Powder
1 Tea spoon Garam Masala
½ Tea spoon Coriander-Cumin Seeds Powder
1 Table spoon Coconut (shredded)
2 Table spoon Coriander (chopped)
Salt as per taste

Sweet Corn Niblets Usal

For the Tadka
½ Table spoon Oil
1 Tea spoon Mustard Seeds
1 Tea spoon Cumin Seeds
¼ Tea spoon Asafoetida
¼ Tea spoon Turmeric Powder
5-6 Curry Leaves

Preparation
Heat the Oil in a Kadhai and then prepare the Tadka. Then add the Onion and Tomato,  fry for 2-3 minutes.

Then add Red Chili Powder, Salt and Corn Niblets. Mix it well and pour ¼ cup of the water. Cook for 4-5 minutes and then add Garam Masala. Mix it well and cook for 2-3 minutes on a slow flame.

Garnish with Coconut and Coriander.
