Simple Recipe for Masala Dosa with Bhaji

This is a Recipe for preparing the famous South Indian Fast Food Snack Masala Dosa with Batata Bhaji. One of the most popular of the Indian snacks. Masala Dosa is a nice wholesome dish, sometimes for a change if you are in the mood you can try it as a replacement for your regular meal.

Preparation Time: 45 Minutes
Serves: 12-15 Dosa

Ingredients
2 Bowls of Rice
1 Bowl of Urdad Dal
A pinch of alum powder

For Batata Bhaji
8 Potatoes
2 Onion
4 – 5 Chilies
Coriander
Garam Masala

Preparation
Soak Rice and Urdad Dal separately. Add Alum Powder . Soak for eight hours. After this grind it thick. Next day it puffs up. Add Salt and a spoon of Oil in the paste. Beat the paste from one side. Use Salt water, sprinkle little of it before making dosa. Add one spoon of dosa paste on the pan and at once, make it thin with a small bowl. After a minute the dosa is ready.

Preparing Potato Bhaji
Fry Onion, add mustard seeds, Jeera, hing, turmeric, the pieces of Potaoes. Add Salt and Sugar. Serve it inside the rolled dosa.
