Recipe for Maharashtrian Gawarchi Bhaji

This is a Recipe for preparing authentic Maharashtrian Gawarchi Bhaji (Cluster beans), Typical vegetable preparation for the main course.

Ingredients
250 Grams Gawar (cut in medium size pieces)
1 Big Onion (chopped)
2-3 Green Chilies (cut in small pieces)
½ Cup Coconut (shredded)
Sugar and Salt to taste
¼ Cup Coriander (chopped)

For Tadka
1 Table soon Oil
1 Tea spoon Mustard
1 Tea spoon Cumin Seed
¼ Tea spoon Asafetida
¼ Tea spoon Turmeric

Preparation
Wash the Gawar and keep aside. Then prepare tadka and then add Onion and Green Chilies then stir for 2-3 minutes then add Gawar, ¼ cup Water cover with lid and cook for 10-15 minutes on slow sim. After that add Coconut, Coriander, Salt, Sugar and then cook for 2 minutes on slow sim.
