Recipe for Chili Chicken

This is a simple and easy to follow recipe for making at home spicy Restaurant or Dhaba Style Chilli Chicken, which is also know as Hari Mirch Murg in Hindi.
The preparation method given by me follows the authentic and traditional North Indian Style of Non-Veg Cooking.

Preparation Tine – 45 Minutes
Serves- 6-7 Persons

Ingredients
1 large Chicken (cut in size able pieces)
1 table spoon Soya sauce
1 centimeter piece crushed ginger
2 red chilies (ground to a paste)
1 ½ table spoon lemon juice
1 table spoon til oil [Sesame oil]
Oil for frying
8 green chilies (sliced lengthwise and partboiled)
4 large onions (sliced fine)
½ table spoon corn flour
1 cup chicken stock
¼ tea spoon salt (if required)

Preparation
Prepare a marinade of the ingredients from Soya sauce to till oil and soak the chicken in it for 3 hours. Heat the oil. Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade and fry till tender and golden. Remove on to a serving dish. Fry the chilies in the same oil. Remove in a little oil fry onion and a little ginger till translucent.

In a separate vessel mix together the marinade with the corn flour, stock and salt. Pour 1 tea spoon of heated oil over this and cook till a saucy consistency is obtained. Pour over the chicken pieces and top with fried chilies and onions.
