Recipe for Cauliflower Sabji

This is a Recipe for Cauliflower Sabji [ Gobi Ki Sabzi or Kobi Chi Bhaji]. This is a common vegetable dish all over India and is a part of the main course, normally served with rotis or rice.

Preparation Time: 30 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons

Ingredients
½ Kg Cauliflower
1 Big Onion (cut in small pieces)
5-6 Green Chilies
2 Table Spoon Coriander
2 Table spoon Coconut
Salt to taste

For Tadka
1 ½ Table spoon Oil
1 Tea spoon Rai
1 Tea spoon Jeera
½ Tea spoon Hing
5-6 Leaves Kadipatta
½ Tea spoon Turmeric

Preparation
First cut the Cauliflower in small pieces (wash & drain the water and keep aside)

Heat the Oil in frying pan and add the Rai, Jeera, Hing, Kadipatta, Onion, Green Chilies and fry till the color change in to pink.

Then add the Turmeric, Salt & Cauliflower, mix it nicely and cover with lid and put some water on top of the lid. Cook for 5-7 minutes on a slow sim.

Then add the Coriander & Coconut and mix it nicely.

Serve hot with Chapatti.

(You can also add 2 table spoon Green Peas in the Tadka if you wish)
