Recipe for Capsicum Salad [Indian Style]

This is a recipe for preparing Shimla Mirch Ka Salad or Capsicum Salad [Indian Style].

Capsicum Salad [Indian Style] Preparation Time: 20 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons

Ingredients
250 grams capsicum
1 small onion
100 grams cabbage
50 grams carrot
1 bunch fresh coriander leaves

Preparation
Wash the whole capsicum and then rub it with a dry piece of cloth.
Then apply a little bit of butter all over the capsicum and roast on a low flame directly from all the sides.
Chop the cabbage and the coriander finely. Grate the carrot and cut the onion into rings.
Then spread the cabbage and the carrot in a serving dish. Keep the roasted capsicum on the sides of the dish and arrange the onion rings in the center of the dish. Then spread the coriander leaves.
Then take 1 tablespoon curd and mix 2 tablespoons tomato sauce, salt, pepper and 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Add this mixture to the salad before serving.
