Recipe for Cabbage Paratha

This is a Recipe for preparing at home typical Dhaba or Restaurant Style Cabbage Paratha or Patta Gobi Ka Paratha as it is called in Hindi.

Preparation Time: 30 Minutes
Serves: 5-6 Parathas

Ingredients
4 Cups Wheat Atta
3 Cups Cabbage shredded
4 Green Chili (chopped)
1 Tea spoon Ginger paste
1 Tea spoon Garam Masala
2 Pinches Black pepper powder
1 Cup Coriander (cut in small pieces)
1 Tea spoon lemon juice
½ Cup Mint leaves (cut in small pieces)
½ Cup Oil
Salt to taste

Preparation
Grind Ginger & Chili. Wash the shredded Cabbage and drain the water and keep it aside for 5 minutes till is becomes dry. After that add Cabbage, Ginger, Chili, Mint leaves, Coriander, Garam Masala, Black pepper, Lemon Juice, Salt and make a filling for the Paratha.

Then take 4 Cups Wheat atta, add Salt and 2 table spoon hot Oil and water. Then prepare Dough. Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes. After that prepare 2 small Puri and fill the cabbage mixture in it. Then press from the sides and prepare medium size Paratha.

Heat the Tawa add little Oil and fry the Paratha on slow sim. Serve hot.
