Aloo Chaat is a readily available fast food dish anywhere in India, most found in fast food eateries and roadside fast food stalls. This popular snack is extremely easy to prepare once you have all the ingredients in place and it take hardly any time and effort to prepare this tasty snack.
In this article is explained a most simple method of easily preparing Aloo Chaat at home whenever in the mood for a change from the daily fare.
Preparation Time: 45 Minutes
Serves: 5-6 Persons
Half kilograms Potatoes
The juice of one Lime [Nimbu]
Chopped Coriander leaves
2 teaspoons Jeera
1 teaspoon Miri Powder [Pepper Powder]
1 teaspoon Chaat Masala
Salt as per taste
Boil the Potatoes and drain the water and when they become dry, skin them and cut into large sized square pieces and keep aside.
Then roast the Jeera and powder it to prepare a paste.
Then apply Salt as per your taste, Miri Powder, Jeera Powder and the Lime Juice on the Potato pieces and mix carefully.
Then sprinkle the chopped Coriander leaves over the Potato mixture.
Lastly sprinkle the Chaat Masala over the Potatoes mixture and mix lightly.
The Aloo Chaat is ready for serving.
