This is a Recipe for Pineapple Chicken, a chicken preparation combined with fresh or canned pineapple to prepare pineapple flavored chicken gravy. The preparation procedure has been given in a simple step-by-step method to make it easy for new homemakers.
Pineapple Chicken Recipe Preparation Time: 45 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons
500 Grams boneless Chicken pieces
Three Slices canned or fresh Pineapple
½ Teaspoon Salt
¼ Teaspoon Pepper
1 Tablespoon Soya Sauce
2 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
1-tablespoon Corn flour
¾ Cup Pineapple Juice
2 Teaspoon Soya Sauce
One Clove Garlic [minced]
Cut the Pineapple slices into 2 cm pieces. Apply the Salt, Pepper, one teaspoon Soya Sauce and a teaspoon Oil to the Chicken pieces.
Heat the rest of the Oil and fry the chicken pieces, stir them continuously until they are nicely cooked.
Mix the Corn flour with ½ cup Water, Pineapple Juice and 2-teaspoon Soya Sauce.
Add the Pineapple pieces to the fried chicken cover the pan with a lid and cook them together for 3-4 minutes.
Remove from the flame and keep the fried chicken aside in a pan.
In another pan heat 1 teaspoon Oil, fry the minced Garlic, pour over the fried chicken and serve immediately.
Water can be added proportionately to the Pineapple juice to make thin or thick gravy.
