Peanuts Filling Stuffed Chapati

This is a Recipe for Peanut Chapati , a Chapati prepared using a stuffing, which has Peanuts as the main ingredient. Tastes great and is a welcome change from the daily routine.

Preparation Time: 45 MInutes
Serves: 8-10 Chapati

Ingredients
For the Filling
1 Cup Groundnut/Peanut (roasted and grounded)
2 Cup Jaggery (shredded)
2 Teaspoon Gram Flour (besan)
½ Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
1 Tablespoon Khas-Khas (powder)
Nutmeg Powder as per taste
1 Tablespoon Ghee

For the Covering
2 Cup Wheat Flour
4 Teaspoon Oil
Salt as per taste

Preparation
For the Filling : Roast the Peanuts, remove the skins and grind them roughly. Then add the Jaggery, Cardamom Powder, Khas-Khas- Nutmeg Powder. Fry the Gram Flour in the Ghee for a minute on a slow flame. And add to the peanut mixture and then mix it well.

Mix the Wheat Flour, Salt and Oil and prepare tight Dough, like a Puri Dough. Prepare small balls from the Dough and roll the balls like the one you make for Puris and fill a tablespoon Peanut mixture over the Puri and cover with another Puri then press both the Puris from the sides and roll like a Chapati.
Heat the tawa and roast the Chapatti from the both sides.
Serve hot with Ghee.
