Egg or Cheese Toast for Tea Time

This is a Recipe for preparing either Egg or Cheese Toast for Teatime or for Breakfast.

Ingredients
A large loaf of Bread
Butter
Tomato Ketchup
Chili Sauce

For the Egg Toast
4 Eggs
1 Large Onion
4 Green Chilies
A handful of Coriander
3 Table spoon Vanaspati Ghee
Salt and Pepper to taste
A Pinch of Turmeric Powder
A Baking Tray

For the Cheese Toast
2 Cups Cheese (grated)
2 Table spoon Cream
4 Tea spoon Flour
1 Large Onion (minced)
A handful of minced Coriander
3 Table spoon Vanaspati Ghee
1 Cup Milk
Salt Pepper as per taste

Preparation
With a large Biscuit cutter cut out circles from the slices of Bread. Butter generously on one side only.
Grease a baking tray, place the Bread rounds on this and bake in an oven at 225 C until crisp. Set aside until required.

Egg Toast
Mince the Onions, Green Chilies and Coriander. Beat the Eggs with a pinch of Turmeric Powder and set aside.
Heat the Vanaspati Ghee, add the Chilies and Onions, and fry until the Onions are browned. Add the Eggs, Salt and Pepper. Stir until the Eggs are cooked. Add the Coriander, mix and remove from heat.
Spread a tablespoon of the mixture on each slice and put a dab of Tomato Ketchup.
Serve immediately.

Cheese Toast
Heat the Vanaspati Ghee. Add the minced Ingredients except the Coriander and fry until the Onions are pinkish in color.
Add the Flour and fry on low heat until lightly browned. Remove from fire and add Milk gradually. Then put back on fire and cook until a thick Sauce in formed.
