Shingada Peethache Chat Pate Dane

This is a most simple Recipe for making at home Upvasache Shingada Peetha Che Chat Pate Dane.  This is a Maharashtrian fasting recipe to prepare Water Chestnut flour coated deep-fried peanuts.

These Fried Water-Chestnuts, prepared in the authentic Maharashtrian Style of Cooking are a healthy and nourishing snack, especially on the days of fasting.

Preparation Time: 15 Minutes after the initial 2 hours marination
Serves: 2 Persons

Ingredients
2 Cups Peanuts
¾ Cup Shingada Peeth ( Water Chestnut Flour)
2 Table spoon Lemon Juice
1 Tea spoon Red Chili powder
½ Tea spoon Cumin seeds powder
Salt to taste
Ghee for frying Nuts

Water Chestnut flour coated peanuts for fasting

Preparation
Sprinkle Water on the Peanuts. Mix the Shingada Peeth with Lemon Juice, Cumin seeds powder,  Chili powder and Salt

Apply the mixture on the Peanuts and spread over a paper for 2 hours.

Heat the Ghee in a Kadhai and deep fry the Peanuts till they become crispy.
