Recipe for Maharashtrian Kandyachya Patichi Bhaji

This is a authentic Maharashtrian Recipe for preparing Kandyachya Patichi Bhaji, (Spring Onion). A vegetable dish using spring onions and Gram flour as the main ingredients.

Ingredients
1 Bunch of Kandyachipat
1 Cup Besan
1 Tea spoon Red Chili powder
½ Tea spoon Turmeric
½ Tea spoon Cumin-Coriander seeds powder
Jaggery and Salt to taste

For Tadka
1 ½ Table spoon Oil
1 Pinch of Asafetida
½ Tea spoon Cumin seeds

Preparation
Wash the Kandyachipat and chop it along with its Onion and keep aside for 10 minutes.
Prepare the Tadka and then add the Kandyachipat and cook for 10 minutes on a slow sim. Then add Turmeric powder, Chili powder, Cumin-Coriander powder, Jaggery and Salt and fry for 2-3 minutes, then Besan and 1 table spoon Oil. Mix it well and cook for 4-5 minutes on a slow sim.
