Recipe for Sol Kadhi

This is a Recipe for Sol Kadhi (Kokum) This Kadhi is popular in the Konkan and coastal regions of Maharashtra and Goa. Normally served with Fish and seafood.

Ingredients
10 Kokum
1 Cup Water
1 Medium Size Coconut

Masala (grind the 2 ingredients given below)
3 Green Chilies
3 Cloves Garlic
¼ Cup Coriander (Chopped)
Salt and Sugar to taste
8 Carry leaves (chopped)

Preparation
Soak the Kokum in water for 1-2 hours and then remove the pieces from the Water without crushing them.
After that grate the Coconut and extract Coconut Milk both thick and thin. Then combine together the Coconut Milk, Kokum extract and add the grounded Masala and chopped Coriander and Curry leaves. Then add the Salt and Sugar.
Do not heat this Kadhi; there is no need of Tadka.
While serving remove the Curry leaves.
