Recipe for Besan Roll Curry

This is a Recipe for preparing at home Besan Roll Curry. This is an authentic and traditional main course dish in Punjab and Rajasthan also known as the Besan Gatte Ki Gravy.

Ingredients
250 Grams Besan flour [Gram flour]
2 to 3 boiled potatoes
2 Chopped Tomatoes
3 medium sized Onion, finely chopped
2 Table spoon Coriander
2 Chopped Chilies
2 Table spoon Chili powder
½ Table spoon Turmeric powder
Salt
Oil to fry
½ Table spoon cumin seeds
1 stick curry leaves (Kadipatta)

Preparation
Sift the flour well and make a thick dough out of the Besan flour adding a pinch of eating Soda.
Make long rolls out of the dough and boil them in water for 15 minutes, Remove the rolls, let them cool and cut them in to small, round, slices.
Heat Oil in a Kadhai. Add the Cumin seeds and curry leaves. Then add the chopped Onions and sauté to golden brown. Add chilies and tomatoes and fry for 3 to 4 minutes. Then add Chili powder, turmeric and Salt and stir fry. Add the boiled Potatoes (chopped to pieces) first and then the Besan slices. Add a glass of water and simmer for 10 minutes.
Garnish with Coriander and serve hot with Parathas .
