Recipe for Corn Flakes Chivda

This is step by step Recipe for preparing Mithai Shop Style Corn Flakes Chivda at home. This is a very crisp and tasty snack and is also a popular Diwali Faral item.

Preparation Time: 60 Minutes
Serves: 500 Grams

Ingredients
250 gram Corn Flakes
1 Cup Pandharpuri Dal [Putana Dal]
1 Cup Peanuts
1 Cup Dry Coconut Slices
Salt to taste
2 table spoon Sugar (grounded)
1 Tea spoon Til [Sesame Seeds]
1 Tea spoon Ajwain
15-20 Leaves Kadipatta
2-3 Green Chili (cut in small pieces)
1 Tea spoon Badisaunf Powder [Fennel seeds Powder]
Oil for deep frying

Preparation
Heat the Oil in a Kadhai and then deep fry the Corn Flakes and keep aside.
Then deep fry the Pandharpuri dal, Peanuts and dry Coconut slices and keep aside.
Then mix the fried Corn flakes, Dal, Peanuts, Coconut and Salt and mix it nicely.
Heat the 1 table spoon Oil and add the Green Chili, Til, Ajwain and Badisaunf powder and mix it with the Corn flakes.
Then add the Sugar and mix it nicely.
The Corn Flakes Chivda is ready.
